Pointer glitch #879
Comments
Also, the problem only shows up on start of mypaint, so it won't do this out of the blue if it's already working properly. |
Disconnecting all peripherals doesn't do anything :/ |
Huh, it actually fixed itself without restarting my computer this time. Just restarting mypaint somehow did the trick. |
Please try an alpha build

I suspect that this may be a duplicate of #177. There's some similar glitchy output from Surface Pro devices. Can you re-test and see if it glitches after a touch event? |
Interestingly, I can draw with my finger without making the jagged lines. Just the stylus triggers it. |

Description of the problem
Sometimes, when I draw, mypaint goes totally nuts.

cursor drawing is fine, just the stylus seems to be going batshit crazy:

I'm using a 2 button surface pro 3 stylus, and this problem doesn't seem to happen on mspaint:

I actually have no clue how in the world I trigger this, and it fixes itself after a restart. Anyways, I thought it might be helpful if I posted this issue.
