Hello,

I wanted to try noteshrink.
After installation, I tried with jpg files in examples folder.
For all files, the same error : TypeError: unique() got an unexpected keyword argument 'return_counts'

I don't know how to do ?

Thanks.

steph@Pergolesi $ noteshrink notesA1.jpg

It's probably a mismatch between your version of numpy and the one my
program expects. Apparently the return_counts parameter was added in 1.10
-- upgrading should help. I will update the requirements shortly.

Ok thank you Matt.

I tried to upgrade by command "sudo pip install --upgrade numpy" on my system to the version 1.11
I have a success message "Successfully installed numpy" but in results of "pip list" numpy version is again 1.8.2 and noteshrink doesn't work always.

Ok it runs well after upgrade to numpy 1.11.2 by command :

sudo easy_install --upgrade numpy

steph@Pergolesi ~ $ pip show numpy

Name: numpy
Version: 1.11.2rc1

The examples work well, the results are very promising.

Good works Matt.
Thanks.
