Just a status update. I was able to get to login, however I don't have a nomad so if someone is willing to test please update this issue and I'll push a link to a beta copy.

I am willing to test it as well. Where will you put the beta? On your repo?

Cannot get directv nomad 2.0.1 to work. Still detects Jailbreak even with alias.

Downloaded Nomad app, version 2.0.1.
Detects jailbreak. downloaded xCon, then purchased Alias.
Still detects.
Tried different combinations of uninstalling and reinstalling apps in different order.
Attempted to use Nomad app in safe mode.
All to no avail.
None of this probably helps, but I'll do what I can. Also unsure what to do with the link above.

Just installed the deb above and Nomad loaded. Prior to this was receiving jailbreak message. Now, I don't have a nomad, but was at least able to confirm the app will now load. Hope this helps!

I can confirm functionality of nomad 2.0.1 with this beta on 5.1.1 4s

I can also confirm that xcon beta causes just about every other app that needs internet to crash.

That is interesting because I have not experienced this on the iPad. I will look into this more.

I cant explain it after i installed beta nomad loaded properly after a few seconds of wait but then I noticed all apps kinda hung after installing beta then things like chrome and facebook and even safari crashed after the same wait period

I think those issues were already fixed in another build. I have a little time again to start working on xcon again so I will see if I can replicate it those other issues. If it is functioning again I will get noone to push it to his repo.

That's good news, thank you.

Is this for the Iphone or Ipad? I tried today and it doesn't work for the iphone.

@bernard893 Nomad is only for iPhone so lets do a little bit of logic here.

@vcooek6902 yes you have to manually install the package as it is not part of a repo. There are plenty of information on the internet on how to install the package manually.

This did not work for me. I went to /private/var/root/media/Cydia/Autoinstall (i had to create the previous two folders) I installed the .deb folder, then rebooted my phone (twice) Nomad still did not work. I have Directv Nomad version 2.0.1 & iPhone 4s 5.1.1. I used cyberduck to transfer the .deb onto the iphone. I didn't realize that Nomad requires a separate product. So I'm done trying to get around it, I'm not buying their junk, but I thought I'd let you know the issue I was having.

@taylorsm Installing debs that way is not recommended. Also n00ne pushed the latest beta to his repo.

V38 Final is being pushed today. Closing this issue as completed. If they push a new version that requires xcon changes please open a new issue. Comments can can still be posted onto this thread even though it's closed.
