CommanderPortraitLoader

The Commander Portrait Loader is a BattleTech mod (using ModTek) allowing you to use custom PNGs as portraits and to select one of 26 voices for your Commander when starting a new campaign.

• install ModTek using the instructions here

Features

• Allows you to use any PNG file placed in the mod folder and use it as your Commander portrait.
• Allows you to choose one of 26 voices for your commander during character creation.

Downloads can be found on github.

Install and use

• After installing BTML and ModTek, put the CommanderPortraitLoader folder into the \BATTLETECH\Mods\ folder.
• Place any png you like to use for your commander in \BATTLETECH\mods\CommanderPortraitLoader\Portraits.
• Start the game.
• Start a new campaign.
• Your PNG(s) should now be available as a preset at the top of the portrait list.
• Select one of the 26 voices (13 female, 13 male) or the original Onboard AI voice.
