Describe the bug
Running with f-sanitizer shows a runtime error in coverage-evs-ALL:

member access within misaligned address 0x000041b58ab3 for type 'const union CFE_SB_Buffer_t', which requires 16 byte alignment

To Reproduce
add_compile_options(
-fsanitize=address
-fsanitize=undefined
-fsanitize-recover=all
-g
)
add_link_options(
-fsanitize=address
-fsanitize=undefined
-fsanitize-recover=all
)

Make SIMULATION=native ENABLE_UNIT_TESTS=true prep

make install

Run Test
