Environment

  • Python version: 3.9
  • Nautobot version: 1.2.11

Steps to Reproduce

  1. Enable the HIDE_RESTRICTED_UI setting
  2. Ensure the user is logged out
  3. Navigate to the home page

Expected Behavior

No UI elements, including the two search bar inputs, should be visible/enabled.

Observed Behavior

Both the nav bar search and the global search form are present on the page, creating a confusing experience for the user.
