After installing the toolkit, the device gets detected and the setup finishes successfully, detecting and configuring the controller (DS3), but it doesn't show up in the "game controllers" list.
SCPServer and SCPMonitor shows the device, but SCP Virtual Bus doesn't come up in the device manager, so obviously, SCPDSx Service won't start. Eventviewer confirms this "The SCP DSx Service service depends on the following service: ScpVBus. This service might not be installed.".
Tried ScpDriverInstaller, but all seems fine and still the service still won't start.
So I supposed I was affected by #266 or the likes. I disabled Secure Boot and tried bcdedit /set loadoptions DDISABLE_INTEGRITY_CHECKS, but to no avail.
Finally, I had to manually "Add legacy hardware" from the Device Manager and manually browse to the .inf for VSCPVBus.
Is there something I missed? A better way to install the driver?
Windows 10 build 15063.608
Secure Boot Disabled
