This release fixes what should be the last issue. I fell foul of the fact that when you call to update the device props "device.replacePluginPropsOnServer" , it restarts the device unless you have the "didDeviceCommPropertyChange" method defined to specify which props force a restart.
Will keep testing with these changes but all appears well now.
