#Server Load Balancer A basic PHP load balancing system.

##Server Types

  1. Load Balancer: redirect traffice between specified possible node servers.
  2. Node: single application server.

##Setting up HAProxy on Load Balancer Install HAProxy

apt-get install haproxy

Enable HAProxy to be started by the init script.

nano /etc/default/haproxy

Set enabled option to 1

ENABLED=1

Save the following configurations into /etc/haproxy/haproxy.cfg

global
        log /dev/log    local0
        log /dev/log    local1 notice
        chroot /var/lib/haproxy
        stats socket /run/haproxy/admin.sock mode 660 level admin
        stats timeout 30s
        user haproxy
        group haproxy
        daemon
        maxconn 2000

        # Default SSL material locations
        ca-base /etc/ssl/certs
        crt-base /etc/ssl/private

        # Default ciphers to use on SSL-enabled listening sockets.
