I have always felt that it's quite "narcissistic" to have a personal domain name. 馃檮
However I feel that https://jon.gold uses his personal domain/website very effectively.

I'm increasingly thinking that I need to take the plunge and publish all my "diary" posts as a "blog"
and build a show-case of my work.
Not because I need a "CV" so that I can get a "JOB" ... heck no!
hell no

But having a "blog" or at least a list of "Essays" similar to: http://paulgraham.com/articles.html
Is a long-term investment I I need to start making ...

@iteles you never "own" a domain, it's rented.
You might feel ownership. But stop paying the annual rent and you'll soon discover the truth.
