Just did a clean install from a fresh VM and I'm having the same problem, same on my Mac now too.

I'll start looking into this. Strangely it seems to be installed fine, but the alias isn't being setup.

I'm hoping someone has some time or enough experience with npm to investigate this as I can't understand why it's not working. I'm wondering if it's something to do with the new hyphenated command (i.e. html-md). I managed to get the alias installed when I tried again today but calling it returns the following:

$ which html-md
/usr/local/bin/html-md
$ html-md --version
: No such file or directory

If no one else is able to pick this up I'll probably just experiment with removing the hyphen from the command as I have no clue.

@brewing I've committed a potential fix which appears to work on the VM I set up previously but was wondering if you could confirm. I've renamed the command to htmlmd but I'll change this back if this doesn't resolve the issue. Unfortunately, I can't seem to get the man page to work with anything I do, but I'm keeping it in there in case I'm able to fix it in the future:

$ which htmlmd
/usr/local/bin/htmlmd
$ htmlmd --version
3.0.2
