Might be able to use some automatic setuptools 2to3 magic.

If I fix the string formatting for the prints, 2to3 complains about remarkably few other things.

Mainly print-format and string-encoding stuff.

tox tests pass. I still want to do some other random tests and try it with quakesounds.

Remember to update history file and regen readme before merging to master.
