It's possible for weirdness to happen if curbuf is modified while
sourcing from it via :source (with no arguments). For example:

Deleting lines from or wiping curbuf can cause internal error E315 to
be thrown from ml_get.
Changing the curbuf to another buffer while sourcing can cause lines
from the new curbuf to then be sourced instead.

I.e: :source (no arguments) the following:

bw!
echom "uh oh"

Output:

E315: ml_get: invalid lnum: 2

I went with the idea of copying the buffer's contents to a string and using get_str_line instead, but I'm not sure I like it. 🤔

I was thinking that I could maybe detect a change in the buffer's changedtick to abort the :source (preferably with an error message). I think there're cases where changedtick changes without the buffer contents actually being modified, but it might be good enough? I can allow the curbuf to be changed during sourcing by using ml_get_buf over ml_get.

Or I could go with the original approach of just aborting the :source if the line number goes OOB, and just allow people to modify the buffer anyway?

Or maybe a way to textlock a specific buffer exists? If not, maybe that could be implemented? 🤷

(I'll revisit this at some point after #14809)

b:changedtick can change even if buffer contents are not changed. Also, this would remove some (academic) flexibility, increase documentation cost...

get_buffer_line isn't needed anymore (we can use get_str_line instead), which means CONCAT_CONTINUED_LINES is only used in one place now.

It's possible for weirdness to happen if curbuf is modified while sourcing from it via :source (with no arguments). For example: - Deleting lines from or wiping curbuf can cause internal error E315 to be thrown from ml_get. - Changing the curbuf to another buffer while sourcing can cause lines from the new curbuf to then be sourced instead.
