Hi @neumino ! As you know, rethinkdbdash as the official js driver is a longstanding issue. We forked RethinkDB and are working on the 2.4 release, discussion here: https://spectrum.chat/?t=bd8aeb61-fa58-4ead-b72e-7e5b8aa61a24 and it is on our plans to adopt rethinkdbdash as the reference driver for RebirthDB, so we forked under the organization group and will continue the development there.

I didn't quite follow up for some time - what's rebirth? Is it just a new name or is it a new fork from the Linux foundation?

As for the driver, I'm fine if you want to fork it, though that seems not optimal in terms of amount of work. I've been thinking about it recently, but I can make grant you write access to the repo/npm package if you're interested (I did something similar with thinky a few months ago)

It's a fork from the original repository because of stagnation for a long time.

We're gonna separate all official drivers(and some unofficial ones) into their own repositories under the org
