Great tool, however the default login window looks really outdated. I propose we define some requirements and find/draw new artwork to use on the login window

Work I see so far:

  1. get rid of ugly colors like #FF0000 #00FF00 and #0000FF
  2. rearrange buttons and input fields
  3. look at lightdm/kdm/gdm for ideas

Yes would be great if there will be more customization possible in future.

A nice example was the one from Suse:
http://os4fun.wordpress.com/2012/07/09/getting-sles11-sp2-repositories-into-the-smt-serve/

And I saw this commit that added some posibillities, did't try it, but what seems still missing is the Title-Text for example:
c96dd8d

Even later would be great to have maybe custom QT/HTML-Login-Portal.

Nice idea and similar thing was the work from "hardening" that added an RDP-Plugin that can be used directly for normal QT-Apps (I tried with QupZilla) with an example "Greeter-Login-QT-App":

It would be a great step ahead if only that ugly font wouldn't be so jagged. Any idea how to change that?
