How do i use a custom build of rclone along with Round-Sync ?

Hello, i would like to use a custom build of rclone. I am guessing to achieve that, i would need to fork this repo and do little bit of change in code then compile Round-Sync app again ?
I am guessing it must be something along the lines of as just replacing the part which it fetches official rclone build and replace that with url of my pre compiled rclone binary ?

But i don't really have any clue about java/kotlin, would really appreciate if you could help me out on this one

You will want to edit this line:

Round-Sync/rclone/build.gradle

Line 29 in 2673e8a

RCLONE_MODULE = 'github.com/rclone/rclone'

You should also edit the line after that, to make it more distinguishable.

Which fork do you want to include? For your purposes this might work flawless without any additional change. However, some remotes require workarounds, so you might not be able to set them up via the gui. Then you would have to use the workaround from the wiki!

Thanks for the heads up. I am intending to use this fork of rclone - https://github.com/divyam234/rclone.
I have forked Round-Sync and modified those two lines accordingly but how how do i trigger a compile of Round-Sync apk ?

This makes use of android studio and is the most simple way to do it.

By the way, a fork is not required if you only want to edit files locally, you can also use the main repository!

Edit:
after you completed that setup, it is as easy as pressing the green play button in android studio in the top right to install the app on an attached emulator/device
