Followup to #5785

Steps to reproduce

  1. Edit an event.
  2. Add a custom category.
  3. Save the event.

Expected behavior

The event should be saved successfully with the new category.

Actual behaviour

An error toast is shown.

Calendar app version

main, 4.7.3
