Expected behaviour

Photos app imports pictures as “timestamp of date taken”.
Nextcloud app shows pictures as “timestamp of date taken”.

Actual behaviour

Photos app imports picture as “today”.
Nextcloud app shows pictures as “today”.

Steps to reproduce

Girlfriend uploads photos via drag‘n‘drop into the browser interface.
You download them via the iOS app on your iPad (and may also import them to Photos).
Then you wonder why you were on that mountain today instead of last year.

iOS version & App version & Server configuration

Everything up-to-date, nothing special, Snap on Ubuntu
