Hi, I'm also interested in this feature to secure my installation.

Right now I have implemented a workaround where I redirect the requests made from something different than the app-client (detected using the user agent) to a virtualhost with client certificates set up, but is a weak workaround.

I have no coding skills (at a level useful to help with this feature request) but I'm able and willing to setup a test environment with client certificates and a dedicated nexcloud installation to work out the kinks if needed.

ciao
Matteo
