Expected behaviour

Display correct space on system space usage

Actual behaviour

System space usage show 10.5 G of usage for Nextcloud app after manually cleared the cache from Nextcloud app

Steps to reproduce

Delete cache from Nextcloud app, then verify space usage from system usage

iOS version

iOS 11.2.5

App version

2.19.1

I didn’t include the server info as I believe is not relevant, but let me me know if it’s necessary and I can add them

Do you have shared storage enabled on the server?
There‘s a bug so it also includes the used space on the shared storage in this calculation!

@scar86 Any feedback? Are you using Testflight versions?

Hi !
I have enabled external storage on my server, however it is larger than 10 G, and I'm not using Testflight version, I'm starting to think the problem is actually iOS since I clean space on other apps (Telegram and WhatsApp) and the space is not consistent with how iOS report it

Hello @scar86 There is a new version v2.20.2
Can you update and give us feedback? Thank you.

Hi !
I installed the new version, still the same incorrect amount of space, however I truly believe this is not an issue of the Nextcloud app, because I already cleared some files from other apps and the space used is not accurate, I'm going to attempt a restore of my phone but I haven't had a chance, for now I'm closing the issue

Thanks !

Hi,

This is still occuring.

IPad iOS v11.4.1
Nextcloud v 2.22.2

This is probably related to how new the IOS implementation of files is. And maybe is outside of your control....

Thank you the great app and for nextcloud software as well!!

Please keep up the great work!

Frank
