Update doesn't go through if app password protection is enabled #816

Expected behaviour

After the last update there should be a notifications symbol at the top regardless of app security settings.

Actual behaviour

I had password protection (weak password) enabled for the app and the last update didn't change the view, so I saw no notifications bell on the app screen. Not even forcing the app to shut down (pushing it out of the top) helped, but disabling the protection and reenabling it afterwards helped.

Steps to reproduce

Hm... difficult, as only happened after last update but maybe this is a deeper issue that might reoccur after the next update.
