java error on login

I have downloaded the apk by this repo (0.3.4) now when i try to connect or refresh i get this error:
Value <!DOCTYPE of type java.lang.String cannot be converted to JSONObject
I'm using android 4.2 with italian language

Which version of the Appframework/ownCloud/News App you are using ?

Uhm i'm using owncube how cloud hosting.
the owncloud version it's the 5.0.7 but i can't found other info. The news app is the new version but i can't say which version use.

i dont use owncube, the me too part was for the bug

@piratenpanda Sorry, thought you're using ownCube, too. Please update your news app to >= 1.101 and update the appframework. Should fix your problem.

app framework is at 0.101 and no update available

you've to upgrade your news app then. news app version >= 1.101 --> download via GitHub

Or downgrade the Android App to 0.3.3 (but then you'll miss some nice new features).
