Upgrade file (index.php) is wrong for version 9.1.6! [ownCloud to nextCloud migration] #6489
Comments
Should work now. |
No it doesn't. Did you even tested it? I get: Could not determine migration path to Nextcloud. |
Or should I download a new file??! |
Yes - I tested. From an ownCloud 9.1.6 to an 10.0.6. What is written in your config.php under version? |
And please also post the content of the updater.log in your data dir. |
I didn't change anything and now instead of version 10.0.5 it gives an error that is kinda strange? version in config.php (as expected):
updater.log gives:
😢 😿 Downloading the clean source code tar: Also says in version.php: .......BEFORE........... It said that there was a version available (although the wrong version!) I think something is really wrong now... Old log section:

Should be solved now, but it later then needs this: https://help.nextcloud.com/t/migration-from-owncloud-9-1-6-to-nextcloud-10-0-6-fails/20908/3?u=morrisjobke |
Renaming your version in version.php as well as config.php would solve the problem. See also the forum link (within my first post above). |
Hi,
As stated on your guide for migration:
https://nextcloud.com/migration/
So I have v9.1.6, and 10.0.6 is already released. Using the upgrade index.php file it ask me to download Nextcloud 10.0.5. I think this is wrong!
Please improve the index.php or your update server for migration from ownCloud to NextCloud!
Currently, I'm blocked, since I don't trust this message (see screenshot).
