There aren't any redirects between lycos domains. So the domains have to be blocked separately.
Most lycos domains have only one domain to present their results. It is sufficient to block only this domains, because lycos has a weather service for example.
One exception is lycos.com. It uses several domains to present results like https://search.lycos.com and https://search4.lycos.com to name only two. The SSL certificate for search.lycos.com is valid for *.lycos.com. This means that lycos.com could potentially use an unlimited number of subdomains to show their results.
