Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.

Some tools are highly dependent on the context (input/output sizes, e.g. database in MALT), and parameters such as memory, CPUs, or special modules need customised at a pipeline level.

@maxulysse implemented this for Sarek (as described here), and the system described there would be highly useful also for EAGER - particularly for MALT.
