Readermode settings not persistent

If we enable readermode, after the app is reinstalled, readermode stays enabled in the settings, but is not used by the app. You have to manually deactivate and reactivate it in the settings.

Pinging @haxxproxx, as this is probably related to the way settings are set and retrieved. Can you take a look?

Isn't fixed for me (and yes, I made sure to actually use your code :)). If I set readermode manually, it works. But as soon as I completely quit out of the app and enter again, it's back to the regular intent mode until I manually save the settings again. Can you take another look at that?
