Basic auth for all http verbs except GET and OPTIONS

I've set the basic auth for my Elastic Search service, but don't know how to implement exclusion for GET and OPTIONS http verbs.
This is how it looked when nginx was running on host:

    limit_except GET OPTIONS { 
		auth_basic "Restricted Access";
		auth_basic_user_file /etc/nginx/htpasswd/example.com;				
	}

The problem was I added a vhost.d custom configuration instead custom location configuration.
