support for jupyterLab/jupyterHub... #845

I've tested and nglview 2.6.9 should work with lab 1.0.9
PS: The latest nglview 2.7.0 does not work yet with jupyterlab. |
Thank you for the guidance. i'm still having the same issue. I'm running jupyterLab on GCE using a pretty vanilla cloud deployment. its running in kubernetes. specific version of jupyterlab is 0.35.6 I ran the above commands and the log is below... After running those commands, i restarted the kernel for the notebook, and ran the following notebook code: it still produces the error. Any ideas?

I do notice that it installed a older version of jupyterlab manager, other than that i don't see any errors in the output..

I'm following the instructions on the readme site:
installation works fine:
But when i try a simple nglview program, i get an error:
The extension seems to be for jupyter notebooks, but not jupyterlab notebooks. are there any plans to support jupyterlabs notebooks?
