Current behavior

Ionic branch does not build because of latest Angular CLI changes. AOT have to be disabled for the build to work, but the the cordova app does not start at all.

Expected behavior

Ionic builds and works fine in Cordova.

Environment

- generator version: master
- node version: ^8
- npm version: ^6
- OS:  Mac
