About The Project

PetReads, a Goodreads clone, is an application integrated with Chewy's UI design that allows users to share pet-related books, leave reviews, and add books to their bookshelves (want to read, have read, and currently reading).

Getting Started

To get a local copy up and running follow these simple steps.

Prerequisites

• npm

  npm install npm@latest -g
  

Installation

1. Clone the repo

   git clone https://github.com/nhucleus/pet-reads.git
   

2. Install NPM packages

   npm install
   

Run the Express / React App

Within the frontend and backend directories:

• npm

  npm start
