Speech Easy - AI Speech Preparation Tool
I worked with 3 friends on this project as our submission to Hack WashU, which placed first overall!
SpeechEasy is an AI-powered speech and presentation preparation tool. It uses real-time speech recognition to give you live guidance, letting you know if you are going off-topic and helping you keep within your set time restraints. Additionally, SpeechEasy transcribes your speeches and analyzes them to give you feedback on how you can improve in the future. With technologies such as Flask, React, GPT, AssemblyAI, and Express we aim to empower students and professionals to give precise and polished presentations.

This paper trading application was born out of a keen interest in the stock market and a desire to delve into trading without financial risk, while simultaneously exploring new technologies. Developed using Django for the backend framework and MongoDB for database management, the application offers users a comprehensive platform for simulated trading experiences. Key functionalities include user registration and login, the ability to conduct trades, and access to a vast array of major stocks. Additionally, it features an intuitive interface for generating detailed charts, providing users with valuable insights into stock performance, all aimed at enhancing their trading strategies and decision-making process.
