Creating issues
Use this issue tracker for issues relating to:
- the content of the data model, including Core, domains, and code sets
- model package artifacts
Issues relating to the architecture of the model or NDR rules should be added to the Naming and Design Rules (NDR) repo.
Note: A GitHub account is required to submit issues and post comments. Please make sure you are logged in.
- Click on the "Issues" tab (or click here).
- Click the green "New Issue" button.
- Add a title. Include the namespace prefix or name and the component name if applicable.
- Add the text of the message, describing the issue.
You can see the full list of issues in the "Issues" tab.
Issues relating to the model will also be added to the NBAC issue tracking project board. This provides an easy way to view the status of the issues. Separate views are available to filter on specific versions of the model.
Columns in the project boards will include:
- Backlog - Issues that should be maintained but aren't ready or able to be addressed at this time.
- To Do - Issues ready to be addressed.
- In Progress - Issues that are being worked on.
- Review - Issues that are waiting review approval from the NBAC, NBAC Harmonization Subcommittee, domain, or another stakeholder for feedback or approval.
- Done - Completed issues that have been integrated to the model, or issues that have been closed out for another reason.
The project board and settings may be adjusted as we go along to make the workflow as smooth and helpful as possible. If you have suggestions or feedback, please submit here as a new issue or send an email to the NBAC TSC mailing list.
- Issue titles, descriptions, and comments can be edited after submission. The original text will still be available as history.
- GitHub supports Markdown styling in issues.
- See GitHub's Guide to issues for more features.
