Reporting of test syntax errors while running test suite #1385

When running tests errors in the tests themselves such as syntax errors or other typos are not reported. While these errors are logged to the console, these errors should be reported to JUnit xml Reports. Additionally they are not visible to the "reporter" or "afterEach" methods of the external globals file so it is not possible to implement a custom reporter to record these issues.
