No proper error message when no network connection is available #55

How to reproduce:

Open the subscription page and reload when no network connection is available.

What happens:

No error message is shown, the ActivityIndicator keeps spinning forever. (Reloading doesn't work either as the XmlHttpRequest hasn't finished yet.)
