Moving items give error: Requested JSON parse failed

Steps to reproduce

1. Fresh install of 2.1.27.8 or upgrade from 2.1.27.7 to 2.1.27.8
2. Add items to a folder, move items to another folder

Expected behaviour

Item should be moved without error message

Actual behaviour

When moving an item using drag and drop, it does move the item ok but it always gives an error:
