Foodo

Full stack recipe app. User can log in and share recipes, as well as like and add recipes to favorites.

Lessons Learned

This was the first time I used Tailwind for styling which was a positive surprise. I also included image upload function with Cloudinary. As for the workflow I used github's project feature to map out ideas and plan my work.

Optimizations

If I had more time I would have love to have added categories and sorting as well.

Add these get app running

• Create a .env file in config folder and add the following as key = value
  • PORT = 2121 (can be any port example: 3000)
  • DB_STRING = your database URI
  • CLOUD_NAME = your cloudinary cloud name
  • API_KEY = your cloudinary api key
  • API_SECRET = your cloudinary api secret
