== 1. Introduction ==

This simple extension sends emails to users on creation of new pages a.k.a articles.
Users can set their preferences to recieve or not recieve emails at Special:Preferences.
This extension was created by Nischay Nahata as a consultant for Wikiworks.com for Texas Instruments

== 2. Installation requirements ==

This extension requires MediaWiki 1.19.0 or later.

== 3. Installing the extension ==

To install the extension, place the extension directory in your MediaWiki's extensions/ directory,
then edit LocalSettings.php and add the following line

	include_once("$IP/extensions/PageCreationNotif/PageCreationNotif.php");

== 4. Configuration ==

The behaviour of the extension can be tweaked using configuration
variables. To override the defaults for these, set them in LocalSettings.php
underneath the call to the extension file.

$wgPCNSender
	Email address of the sender of the email
	Defaults to the value of $wgPasswordSender

$wgPCNSenderName
	Name of the sender of the email
	Defaults to the value of $wgPasswordSenderName
