If you change the name of the repository then you need to create a repo name mapping in the config to tell the system what to do. If you messed it up :) then you can run the migration again, with the repo matched, and it should add all of the git commit links to the work items. The system checks for the same number of links on each side on a rerun and will add them in. |

I'm curious about how the link between the work items and a commit id works. What are the requirements for the link to be able to be established?
I've noticed that the repository must have been migrated before the work items.
But are there any ways to migrate a repository to mess up the links?
And if you do - are there any ways to restore links?
