Suggest this is merged ASAP to resolve any issues for newcomers @TooTallNate @unbornchikken.
Additionally, this repo should be archived and deprecated in the NPM registry. If there's the need to maintain backcompat, then point devs towards the newer repo.
(Notwithstanding, great job on making the building blocks for this functionality!)
