(continuation of this comment on #59)

The By-Laws, Article 5, allows for creating committees. Furthermore, these committees may have sub-committees/working groups if they choose. The TSC has done this and delegates much of it's work off to them! 👏

hm...but, what to where?

It has been said that it is something like an org chart- and it looks like a big web of a mess. But in the spirit of the TSC's Guiding Principle ("must not merely be open, but also easily visible to outsiders")... Can we put something together? Even if it is has a disclaimer that it is a partial listing?

Note 1: I believe this will help any predecessor to #59 that may surface.

So, the TSC can create sub-groups at its own discretion and those don't fall under the definition of committees outlined in the bylaws.

The committees described in the bylaws are for member committees and board committees. Currently there are:

  • Board Committees
    • Audit & Finance Committee
    • Legal Committee
  • Member Committees
    • Marketing Committee
      • Enterprise Sub-Committee

On the TSC side, right now this is a lot simpler:

  • Mentorship (Incubator)
    • libuv
    • express
  • Inclusivity WG
  • Core
    • All of the Working Groups at the moment.

💥 ! Awesome. Maybe this can make it into the new foundation site. I'd like to add the TSC part to the README.md of this repo, so I'll do a PR for that.

Closing given that there's been no further discussion in nearly a year
