In respect to @refack's comment, I'd suggest joining the zoom meeting so you can talk/discuss. I think we'll want to spend some part of the meeting talking about how to get you started.

And for the new-ish folks: The Build WG has a practice of using 👍 and 👎 reactions on the initial post in a meeting issue like this one to indicate likely-to-attend-this-one and not-likely-to-be-able-to-attend respectively. (So, my 👎 above is "I probably can't make it this time", not a thumbs-down on having a meeting or anything like that.)

@mhdawson would it make sense for me/us to join the mentoring program that is starting here https://github.com/nodejs/mentorship ?

As as mentor or mentee?
AFAIK the mentorship program is still in it's very early stages and there is still noone from this WG available as mentor. We do customarily onboard new members with the specifics on this WG. There are sporadic docs around the repo such as this one.

I was thinking as mentee, but you already answered me with "there is still noone from this WG available as mentor".

I added #1331 for more insights into how to structure the build subteams. The agenda is pretty packed but this probably should not take too much time to discuss.

Sorry I wasn't able to attend, the time slot is difficult for me, but I still think it's the best given the overall group availability. I'm still committed to maintaining our Windows machines (don't hesitate to mention me) and also generally helping around when I can.

I've commented on #1277 regarding the Windows Ansible scripts.
