StackOverflow Documentation for Node.js #110
Comments
@mikeal brought it up recently. I've lost track of the issue that happened in though. cc @nodejs/documentation |
I don't mind undertaking maintaining this, I'm an active SO user and a docs WG member. The problem is that I'll only have time to deal with this in November. |
I can help with this too. We did bring this up on the Slack chat as well. |
How should we deal with documentation efforts specific for user land modules? For example, I see this for grunt Grunt seems like it could be its own big topic itself. |
Closing as this repository is dormant and likely to be archived soon. If this is still an issue, feel free to open it as an issue on the main node repository. |

I could not find any discussion about this topic on this issue tracker nor in any other issue tracker on the nodejs org for that matter, so I'll post it here (I hope that's ok with everyone) ⭐
StackOverflow announced July 2016 the public beta for their Documentation site. There have already been created a section for Node.js documentation with 32 accepted topics and 67 additional topics requested as per this post.
I am wondering where the Docs WG stands regarding StackOverflow Documentation for Node.js? Obviously this can never be a replacement for the official docs on nodejs.org/docs, but it could be a very nice addition if there were some coordinated effort behind it. What do you think?
Also, this StackOverflow comment on an older meta post about documentation.
