I am not TSC member but I would like to evangelize Node.js v4 in my Node community (Node.js Japan User Group).
|
Edit: On a second thought, I would like to do No.4 if it is scripted. And I am fine with anytime. |
I would like to evangelize Node.js v4 in Node community of China(cnodejs.org).

I am not a TSC member either but I would like to evangelize Node.js v4 in Chinese Node communities too.

I'm sure SF Bay Area will be extremely well covered, but happy to be a backup to a backup to a backup:

I'd be more than happy to help around Austin.

I'm Developer Advocate around Node.js. Sponsored by my company but not obliged to pitch our products.
I will publish a blog post about 4.0 at our company blog as soon as it is released. E-Mail me if you have time for a peer review. |

I'm new to Node but very experienced in developer relations having led DevRel for the jQuery project and a Principal Developer Advocate at Microsoft for web development. Plus I keep trying to get @mikeal to do CrossFit so that has to count for something! ;)

Closing this, as v4 has been out for a while now. |
Primarily I'm after @nodejs/tsc members for this because they have fairly good name recognition in the community at the moment but I'd also be interested to see other @nodejs/collaborators put up their hands as well because location matters.
So, who is available to do a bit of evangelism for v4 by speaking at meetups and other gatherings and even perhaps at companies that reach out? Can you answer to this thread by providing the followng:
Then we'll try and get the word out to meetup organisers that you're available to speak about this, now and after v4 is released.
