What

An open meeting for the enterprise community to facilitate discussion on how corporations who benefit from Node & JavaScript can contribute back to the project and to the collective.

Why

Leverage the power and structure of enterprise businesses and their large development teams and practices to support the Node.js project through (suggestions):

  • data & insights on usage within large teams and within the context of large revenue streams
  • direct non-monetary contribution to the project through structured call-to-actions _(testing, metrics, insights)
  • other means, so long as they provide a structured approach that enterprise teams can pick-and-run with

Who

  • @ahmadnassri - Lead
  • @nodejs/user-feedback - Members
  • Invited contributors to the forum (will update with individuals / companies)

When

November 29, 2018 10 AM Pacific time. (after Comm-Comm meeting)

Joining the meeting

How

Agenda is now open for issues/topics.

suggested starting topics:

  • can enterprise teams provide data on Node API usage statistics within their code (through instrumentation)
  • is there an automated & economized method to share library usage and connect (through a dotted line) to a monetary value / risk value
    • demo how TELUS tracks package adoption across the business, and how data is actioned.
  • communication preferences for call-to-actions

@i0natan: Hi, this issue was opened for tracking per our team meeting. @ahmadnassri who is the leader for this new group might be working on agenda or postpone this, due to Thanksgiving or holidays season. You can take a look on previous meetings/issues labeled user-feedback-enterprise. Thank you.
