Progression

This module offers a different take on progression. It handles content based on patches instead of brackets or by conquering content. It is server-wide and always the same for all players.

Patches

These are all the patches included with this module. Every patch includes changes to simulate that patch as best as possible. Information about what's new in each patch will be added soon.

  • Patch 1.3: Ruins of the Dire Maul
  • Patch 1.4: The Call to War
  • Patch 1.5: Battlegrounds
  • Patch 1.6: Assault on Blackwing Lair
  • Patch 1.7: Rise of the Blood God
  • Patch 1.8: Dragons of Nightmare
  • Patch 1.9: The Gates of Ahn'Qiraj
  • Patch 1.10: Storms of Azeroth
  • Patch 1.11: Shadow of the Necropolis
  • Patch 1.12: Drums of War
  • Patch 2.0: Before the Storm
  • Patch 2.1: Black Temple
  • Patch 2.2: Voice Chat
  • Patch 2.3: The Gods of Zul'Aman
  • Patch 2.4: Fury of the Sunwell
  • Patch 3.0: Echoes of Doom
  • Patch 3.1: Secrets of Ulduar
  • Patch 3.2: Call of the Crusade
  • Patch 3.3: Fall of the Lich King
  • Patch 3.3.5: Assault on the Ruby Sanctum

Note

Keep in mind that it's not complete even if there seems to be a lot done. It's not meant to be 1:1 compared to retail because with changes to spells and so forth that's impossible without client and core edits, and those kind of edits are not what I want.

I haven't added the level 60 versions of Naxxramas and Onyxia's Lair, or the opening of the Ahn'Qiraj yet. Most of this is already done in my core patch but I rather do it from scratch, clean it up and minimize the amount of edits required to support it. I don't need reports for these unless specifically stated.

Wrath of the Lich King patches are by far the most complete and also my current focus. Changes have slowed down significantly because there's not much I can find that needs to be changed in those patches, and I'm also busy with other things a lot of the time. I will probably start to focus on The Burning Crusade patches soon.

Corrections

Create issue reports for anything that isn't correct and I will look into it as soon as I have the time to. If something isn't intended to be in a certain patch, or if it is, I want to change it and would greatly appreciate reports for it.

The same can be said for improvements to the code. I'm not a professional developer in any way so it might not be clean or very optimized and therefore I welcome suggestions for that too.
