Hi there 👋

I am Matt Norgren (He/Him), a Lead Architect & Data Scientist.

  • Languages: MSFT SQL, Python, R and Spark
  • Focuses: Natural Language Processing, Bayesian Inference, and Reinforcement Learning
  • Visualization software includes: Tableau, Power BI, Looker & NEO4J
  • Data Warehousing includes: MSFT SQL Server, Terradata, Redshift, HDFS (storage), Snowflake, Databricks, etc.

There is always more to learn.

Current Project:

🔭 I’m currently working with a partner on a natural language processing solution to determine what U.S. Congressional members are spending their time on, in an effort to create an accountability mechanism. This is designed and written in Spark and takes advantage of the newest generation of SparkNLP. We have a research paper written - more to come.
