Cannot install the NppFTP plugin on my Windows laptop.

The NppFTP plugin is not installed with the 8.5.4 download and is not installed via the plugin admin menu.
Also could not find the nppftp.dll file in the Notepad++ folder or sub-folders.

Steps to Reproduce the Issue

1. Bring up Plugins Admin
2. Select NppFTP plugin
3. Click on Install

Expected Behavior

That NppFTP is installed

Nothing

Have you raised an issue in the NppFTP repo? If you don't, you probably won't get a response.

It should get installed via PluginsAdmin, but have you tried installing it manually?

So will this work?
1 Create the folder, NppFTP, under C:\Program Files\Notepad++\plugins
2 Unbundle NppFTP-x64.zip into the NppFTP folder created in the previous step
3 Then install via PluginAdmin

Installing manually (my suggestion) doesn't involve Plugins Admin at all, so just do your steps 1 and 2 and don't do step 3.

Then restart N++ and you should have a NppFTP item in the Plugins menu.

I'd guess that for installing via Plugins Admin, you need to have a proxy set and you currently don't. But this isn't important for a manual install.
