Just came across Google Noto Modi font. The efforts taken are highly appreciated. Though, some characters doesn't appear for how they should be ("A" and "Ma" are not correct). What should be done to rectify the errors in the font?

How can I make my own Modi font which will be visible as the characters and not tofu, in the digital world?

Can you add some images of characters that don't look correct and how they should look? In the Unicode proposal there are examples of "A" and "Ma" that look like what's in Noto, but if another shape is more acceptable then it's good to add some images here.

@aniket1k There are some other issues with this font as well so everything should be looked over carefully and fixed, but sometimes that can take a while. If you have any other comments on the font then that will be helpful.

@punchcutter Once, the font is ready, will it be visible everywhere in the digital world?

This font needs to be improved. There are issues with other characters as well, These are:

AA - The line should pass through the center of the node, equally distributing the node in two halves.
The vertical line on the right should be perpendicular to the base line with the base line leaving some extension after the intersection of the vertical and the base line.;

KA - It should have two hollow nodes;

KHA - The beginning of the hollow node is not attached to the line.

II - Should have slightly more extended arc above the line.

JHA - The S-like shape should be slightly extended below the hollow node on the left.

More to change. Will keep you posted.

Modi doesn't have "Rhasva" and "Dirgha". Unable to understand why it has been added in the Unicode.

@aniket1k : thank you for your comments
You wrote "How can I make my own Modi font which will be visible as the characters and not tofu, in the digital world?" What did you want exactly to do? Do you have experience editing source code for fonts using Glyphs.app or some other font editor?

@aniket1k : also could you draw examples for the list below "There are issues with other characters as well, These are", take a photo and attach it here? ...
we'll try to fix it.

Thanks

Is there any update on the same?

At the moment I am going through and trying to fix what issues I can with the Noto fonts. In the case of this issue, it's going to require some glyphs to be redrawn, and I don't feel comfortable doing that myself; we need someone with font design experience.

If you (or anyone else with Modi expertise) would like to try your hand at improving the glyphs yourself, you would need a copy of the Glyphs.app software as Marek describes above. Unfortunately without community contributions, it may be some time before we can get existing glyphs redrawn.

Would it work for contributors to draw glyphs in e.g. FontForge that you could import into Glyphs?

Sure!
