At some point I probably will add the next branch, but currently I'm working on increasing the FBTFT framerate. Next step will be to try and use Device Tree to configure FBTFT. So I don't know when I get around to it.
Is there any specific gain in going from 3.6 to 3.9?

Dom made this statement:

I'm aiming to move to 3.10 for the main firmware, but initially I've moved the "next" tree to 3.10 first.
If no problems emerge in the next month, the default tree will move to 3.10.

Next firmware tree is now 3.10

There is now a next branch with 3.12+, master is 3.10+
