I'm opening this issue because:

  • npm is crashing.
  • npm is producing an incorrect install.
  • npm is doing something I don't understand.
  • [ x ] Other (see below for feature requests):

What's the feature?

Peer dependencies are really annoying to deal with. Is there an option or can there be an option to install Peer Dependencies by default?

What problem is the feature intended to solve?

Problems can be caused by packages that require peer dependencies which takes a really long time to fix.

Is the absence of this feature blocking you or your team? If so, how?

It is annoying to deal with but there are ways around it.

Is this feature similar to an existing feature in another tool?

There are packages but they never work for me.

Is this a feature you're prepared to implement, with support from the npm CLI team?

I am not familiar enough to implement this issue.
